Buenos Aires, October 2025 – In a context where the motorcycle vehicle market experienced strong growth in patents during the first half and a slowdown in the second, Okinoi, a leading company in the import and marketing of motorcycle parts in Argentina, analyzes the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Although the demand for spare parts remains constant, the opening of imports created a scenario of greater competition, with new players joining the market. In this framework, Okinoi combines national production with imported products, seeking a balance that allows it to sustain quality and meet consumer needs.
«Domestic production cannot completely supply the demand for spare parts. The market needs imported contributions to respond to the required volume. Our business model seeks to take advantage of the best of both worlds: strengthening the national and, at the same time, relying on the import flow so as not to short supply the end user,» he expressed. Agustín Visokolskis, spokesperson for Okinoi.
The company emphasizes that, although competition is a challenge, it also contributes to energizing the sector. «Opening generates a more crowded game, which forces us to improve and innovate every day. We believe that healthy competition is positive for the entire chain,» added Visokolski.
In relation to the economic outlook, Okinoi observes that recent monetary stability provides a more predictable framework for projecting and planning investments, although consumption continues to be impacted by the loss of purchasing power.
«The thermometer of the Argentine economy has always been the dollar. When it rises, it has an impact on the market and on consumer prices. If the stability achieved in recent months is maintained, companies will be able to plan with a longer horizon. That macro order is key for the microeconomy to begin to find a respite,» said the manager.
Okinoi, with a presence throughout the country and operations in the region, continues to focus on expansion and the development of new products, maintaining its commitment to quality, innovation and closeness to customers.
