One Punch-Man, season 3 – episode 4: what the new episode is about
Graduated «Counterattack signal»episode 4 promises take the series to more familiar terrain for One Punch-Man with scenes full of action, its characteristic humor and -perhaps- a redemption on the part of the production after the «mistakes» from episode 3.
The Hero Association prepares to invade the Monster Association’s lair. They decide to summon a select group of S-Class heroes for the mission, but Silver Fang (Bang) and the newcomer Genos are notably left out due to their failure to capture Garou.
Meanwhile, Garou, after being brutally defeated and left for dead by Royal Ripper and Bug God in episode 3begins to recover. Driven by anger and the desire for revenge, his body undergoes a supernatural recovery and power surge (known as «Zenkai surge» in the manga). He rises with fierce determination and, covered in scars and dried blood, decides to personally break into the Monster Association headquarters to confront those who underestimated him.
The episode also features a comic subplot in Saitama’s apartmentwhere several characters, including Fubuki and Dr. Kuseno (who brings prime meat), gather for hot pot, providing a lighter moment before the main conflict escalates.
