Miss Universe Argentina surprises by revealing the condition she suffers from in her hair: «I was born with this condition»

A few days before the ceremony, the local representative for Entre Ríos explained a condition you suffer from in your hair and received the support of his followers.

In an Instagram video, the 25-year-old revealed that she suffers alopecia. “Let’s turn insecurities into strength so as not to forget what makes us united,” he wrote.

Alopecia is hair loss in areas where hair should be presentwhich can manifest as partial or total baldness. This condition can be temporary or permanent, localized or generalized, and can affect people of any sex and age.

In the statement he recorded to respond to those who asked about his missing hair, Masset states: “I have alopecia, I was born with this condition, my hair does not grow in this area and it will never grow.”

“For a long time it was a great insecurity for me, that’s why I have never made it public, but today it is something that makes me feel like a strong person, because I can also show them that we all have imperfections and today it is something that gives me a lot of security,” he continues.

The woman from Entre Ríos says that, instead of covering that part of her scalp, she prefers to show herself as she is: «It was difficult for me to accept it, it was difficult for me to make it known and today I am in Miss Universe, which is such an important platform, so big and to be able to show that, as I said, we all have insecurities and it is the most normal thing in the world, because there is no perfection, we are not perfect, we have our flaws and that’s okay.»

Who is Aldana Masset?

Masset is a 25-year-old model, image consultant and singer known, among other things, for having been the vocalist of the cumbia pop band In Agaporn. She replaced Melina Lezcano when she left the group in 2022.

However, his foray into the Argentine music scene did not last long. A year after joining, she left the group to dedicate herself fully to modeling.

I am very happy and grateful for everything I shared and experienced, but due to personal desires I am going to continue my life in another country and start new projects,» he wrote in the band’s farewell post.

She entered the world of modeling at a very young age. “I always liked this whole world, I feel like I was born for this. I have no memory other than singing in front of a mirror, walking with shoes in the hallways and doing shows for my entire family,” he commented as reproduced by El Once.
