In the middle of a walk that seemed usual, a historic discovery was made. A dog found a spearhead thousands of years old while walking with his owner in Poland.
The incident occurred near the small town of Limanowain the southern region of the country, according to the Polish news channel TVP World.
On October 11, the local history museum announced the news through an article on its website.
“Does it have to be Indiana Jones to discover fascinating archaeological sites? Not necessarily”, warned el Museo Regional de la Tierra de Limanowa (Regional Museum of the Limanowa Land).
How the discovery occurred
One day, according to the entity, a citizen named Paul began a tour of a wooded area close to Limanowa with her dog, Richard.
At one point, during the walk, the dog noticed on something that stuck out of the ground. It was a metal piecebut not just any one: according to the museum, It turned out to be «extraordinary» and «invaluable».
After the discovery of the dog, Paweł unearthed the object of the earth and was surprised: I had just found one ancient spearhead. The artifact, almost 30 centimeters long, was «very corroded»according to experts.

The culture of Przeworsk is, according to the Przeworsk Culture Museum (Muzeum Kultury Przeworskiej), «an archaeological culture of Iron Age that was developed between the 3rd century BC. C. and the 5th century AD. c. in what is now Poland and Transcarpathia (NdR: southwestern Ukraine)».
