In a video he shared on his networks titled “Declaration regarding my resignation from jury of Miss Universe 2025”, Harfouch explains the reasons for his decision and makes a strong complaint against the contest.
In two points, Harfouch says that he does not want to be part of the selection process after he was not informed of part of the selection process for the contestants.
“Two days before the final, a secret vote was held to preselect 30 contestants out of 136. This vote was carried out by people who are not official members of the jury, including me,” the description of his post begins.

Viewers would assume that the jury made these decisions, and I cannot take responsibility for a process in which I did not participate. To pretend otherwise would be dishonest.”, he concludes.
