Today, November 25, the miniseries “Based on Real Trips”, an original production of DiDi y Blender that is committed to technology and local talent. The fiction, with 7 short episodes and free access on YouTube, recreates the human stories that can arise on an everyday journey.

A technological and narrative bet
The series was filmed in Cacodelphiathe same study where it was produced “The Eternaut”using advanced technology virtual set. This technique allowed car interiors and urban views to be recreated with cinematic realism, giving life to stories that fluctuate between comedy, drama and science fiction.
Delfina OrlandoSr. Communications Manager of DiDi in the Southern Cone, explained the motivation for the project: «On each trip, more than people move: stories move. We are committed to innovative narrative and cutting-edge technology to capture those everyday encounters that can transform the day».
Cast, episodes and a human look
The first five episodes star Boy Olmiwho plays an observant driver who discovers the lives of his passengers. The cast is completed with an outstanding group of Argentine actors such as Leonora Balcarce, Esteban Menis, Lula Mangone and Toto Rovitoamong others.
The last two chapters focus on experiences of DiDi Moto: one starring Mica Riera y Julian Doregger in a romantic story, and another with Glikman Tattoo in a Christmas story with overtones of miracle.

Availability and release
The first episode of “Based on Real Travels” opens today, November 25at the end of the “I Listen to Offers” program in Blender. Subsequently, it will be launched a new chapter per day during the week, remaining available in the modality On Demand so that the public can see them at any time.
The series has a script by Facundo Díaz, Ignacio Rogers and Carolina Santosand address of Antonella Marini and Diego Juanconsolidating a proposal that seeks to promote Argentine fiction with agile formats and stories close to everyday life.
