With a completely packed house and an audience that did not stop applauding, the musical “Pretty Woman” made its long-awaited debut in Mar del Plata, marking the official start of the theatrical summer in the city. The musical version of the film classic dazzled with a striking staging and outstanding performances, receiving a warm and enthusiastic reception at its first performance.

The co-producer Sweet Pomegranates expressed his excitement after the successful premiere: “What a joy to start a new season of ‘Pretty Woman’ in this beautiful Mar del Plata, where art always finds its home”referring to Mar del Plata Theater of Carlos Rottemberg. Furthermore, he highlighted the fundamental role of the producer Miguel Pardowho, according to his words, “turns passion into path and vision into reality”.
The show is a production of Pardo Productions -co-produced by Dulce Granados- and is directed by the renowned Ricky Pashkus. The selection of the cast was a rigorous process that received more than 2,300 applications from all over the country, ensuring an exceptional artistic level.
Florencia Peña and Juan Ingaramo: a brilliant leading duo
The musical stars Florencia Penain the role of Vivian Ward, and Juan Ingaramolike Edward Lewis. The chemistry between them and their powerful performance on stage were fundamental pillars to transport the public to the iconic love story that combines romance, humor and music.
