The days Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, 2026the Japanese Garden Cultural and Environmental Complex of Buenos Aires will vibrate with the “Anime and Manga Taikai”an event that will culminate with a Extraordinary Competition Cosplay whose great prize is a trip to japan for the winner over 18 years old. Organized by the Argentine Japanese Cultural Foundation with the collaboration of the Fans Club “In the name of the Moon”, the contest promises to be an unmissable event for the otaku community.


An international event with a Japanese star
The contest will not only stand out for the magnificent prize, but will also have the international presence of a very famous Anisong singer (anime music), whose name is kept confidential to generate expectation. This visit adds a unique attraction to the event, positioning it as a meeting of continental relevance.

The preselection will take place during both days, January 24 and 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the grand finale is scheduled for Sunday the 25th. He cosplay (from English costume playcostume game) consists of dressing up and playing a character from a manga, anime, video game, movie or even a singer. The jury for this edition will be made up of Mai and Hikathe two previous winners of the contest who have already had the experience of traveling to Japan thanks to this award.
