The Bicentennial Cadastral Congress, one of the most relevant meetings of Argentine Surveying where professionals from all over the country will be present, opened the call for the presentation of papers that will make up its academic program. The event will take place on August 31, September 1 and 2 in the city of Mar del Plata.
Organized by the Professional Council of Surveying of the Province of Buenos Aires (CPA), the Congress is part of the commemoration of the 200 years of the Topographic Department, a key milestone in the history of the country’s territorial planning.
The president of the CPA, Reinaldo Beain, highlighted that the objective is “to project the future of Argentine territorial planning with a federal perspective, promoting solid technical consensus and concrete proposals to strengthen legal security.”
Axes and topics to be discussed
The presentations must fall within one of the following axes:
- Legal Surveying
Measurement and determination of limits; parcel status; real rights; relationship with the real estate registry; legal security in real estate. - Real Estate Complexes
New forms of organization and occupation of the land; gated communities and urban developments; territorial impact; regulatory and technical adaptation. - Domain Regularization
Technical and institutional tools to organize the territory; regularization processes in municipalities; access to land; guarantee of rights and urban planning.
The registration and abstract submission period will be open from March 2 to May 15. The organization reported that work with technical rigor and innovative contributions will be prioritized, capable of enriching professional debate and providing concrete tools for decision-making.
The Congress is projected as a strategic space for academic and professional exchange to address the current and future challenges of Argentine territorial planning.
