More than 500 lawyers supported the presentation of the ruling party of the La Plata Bar Association

The “Abogacía Unida – Abogar – Renovación Collegial” list presented its team, proposals and candidates for the elections on May 14 and 15.

With the participation of more than 500 registered professionals, the ruling party of the La Plata Bar Association This Thursday, it held a central event in which it presented its work team, the management axes and the list of candidates with which it will compete in the elections on May 14 and 15.

The meeting, which showed strong support from the enrollment, was led by the president of the College, Marina Mongiardinoand the candidate for first full councilor, Josefina Sannen Mazzuccowho highlighted the collective construction: “These teams represent a synthesis of the 17 spaces that today manage the College and make up the Abogacía Unida – Advocate – Collegiate Renewal list.”

The call reflected the support of enrollment in the previous election, in a context in which the ruling party seeks to revalidate the management with a proposal based on institutional continuity, the expansion of services and greater participation of the legal profession in collegiate life.

A broad and representative assembly

One of the central aspects of the meeting was the visibility of the breadth of the space, which brings together 17 spaces of the La Plata legal profession in a unified construction.

This group is made up of: Active Advocacy, Advocacy for Equality, Criminal Lawyers, Lawyer, Professional Commitment, Space I Legal Professionals, FAJUS, Front of Lawyers, New Law Generation, Letra Viva, Nueva Abogacía La Plata, Prisma, Professionals for Social Justice, Collegiate Proposal, Collegial Renewal, UAJ and Victoria de la Abogacía.

This broad base is one of the pillars of the ruling party, which is committed to supporting a management model that articulates different views of professional practice.

Management axes and proposals

During the day, the 12 thematic management axes were presented, which structure the space program for the next two years.

The presentations were given by the different technical teams and addressed topics such as institutional transparency, services and benefits, administration of justice, academic training, fees, access to justice, interior, young professionals, pension law, labor law, sports and gender policies and collective rights.

The format of the meeting made it possible to show both the work carried out and the proposals for the future, reinforcing the idea of ​​continuity with renewal.

Presentation of candidates

At the closing, the formal presentation of the “Abogacía Unida – Abogar – Collegial Renewal” list was made, headed by Marina Mongiardino and Josefina Sannen Mazzucco, along with the candidates for the Board of Directors, the Disciplinary Court and representation before the Social Security Fund.

Within this framework, Adolfo Eduardo Brook (2nd regular director), Federico Marcelo Laurito (3rd regular director), Gastón Maximiliano Nicocia (4th regular director), María Salomé Calderón (5th regular director), Juan Pedro Casco Amione (6th regular director) and Yamila Mariel Zamaniego (1st alternate director) were announced.

In addition, the list includes Aldana Iovanovich (2nd substitute director), Javier Enrique Menna (3rd substitute director), Luisina Inés Carrizo Dalsgaard (4th substitute director), María Victoria Gisvert (alternate director for 2 years), Diana Solange Gensollen (1st titular Disciplinary Court) and Lorenzo Matus (2nd titular Disciplinary Court).

Likewise, Martina Maia Raffetto (1st substitute Disciplinary Court), Carolina Belén Espinosa (2nd substitute Disciplinary Court), Lucio Darío Saldaño (regular director of the Social Security Fund), Martín Javier Félix Villena Valenti (alternate director of the Social Security Fund) and Augusto José Paulos (alternate director of the Social Security Fund for 2 years) are part of the payroll.

The incorporation of management liaisons was also announced, a new figure aimed at strengthening the articulation between the different areas of the College and the Board of Directors, expanding institutional participation.

A message of continuity and participation

The event closed with a message of unity and projection, highlighting the role of the legal profession in the institutional construction of the College.

«We are a great team, with a vocation to continue building a more modern, closer and more representative college for all lawyers. This May 14 and 15 is the time to continue transforming the College,» they said from space.

With a massive call and a consolidated structure, the ruling party is projected ahead of the elections with the objective of revalidating the management and deepening the process of institutional transformation in the La Plata Bar Association.
