A line that travels through Africa, Europe, Alaska and both poles divides the Earth into two hemispheres that reflect exactly the same amount of light, according to a study by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The team determined that the slight annual displacements of said line are closely linked to the global climate phenomenon of The Childcharacterized by a warming of ocean surface temperatures, reports RT.
The curious thing is that none of the eight most advanced climate models managed to perfectly imitate how the Earth maintains this current balance.

The planet maintains the same brightness in East and West although they have very different types of clouds. For example, in the West there are low, bright clouds over Chile and California, while in the East there are very high clouds over the Indian Ocean, it indicates. RT.
However, climate change is slowly breaking this balance, as clouds are getting thinner and the Amazon rainforest is getting darker.
