During a recital by the singer Daniel Agostini in a restaurant in San Miguel, province of Buenos Aires, a young man made a marriage proposal in front of hundreds of people, but the ending was not what I expected.
The video shows the young man putting one knee on the stage floor, showing the girl a ring and asking the classic question: «Do you want to marry me?»
The audience was anxiously waiting for the girl’s YES to break into applause.
But the answer was a resounding NO with the head and the girl, to make matters worse, walked backwards, as if afraid of the boy.
The situation in the place mixed silences, murmurs and other people’s embarrassment.
Some users took the side of the rejected young man and others took the side of the girl, suggesting that a marriage proposal must have some prior certainty before making it.
