Moments of tension at Technical School No. 5 due to a delicate episode involving a student
A situation of deep concern was experienced yesterday Tuesday at the Technical Secondary Education School No. 5 of La Plata, located on 76th Street between 7th and 8th, after a 15-year-old student tried to take her own life in the bathroom area of the establishment.
According to official sources consulted, the teenager was found in time by school personnel. At the time of being assisted, she was conscious and out of danger. Given the seriousness of the event, the school authorities immediately requested the arrival of an ambulance from the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME).
After receiving the first attention at the scene, the minor was transferred to the San Martín Hospital for a complete medical evaluation and to receive the corresponding psychological support. The circumstances surrounding the dramatic episode are being analyzed by educational authorities and school guidance offices to provide the necessary support to the educational community and the student’s family.
