The Argentine content creator Gaspar Prim Díaz, known as “Gaspi”, died this Sunday after a collision between helicopters that occurred in Rio de Janeiro. American singer Oliver Tree and Argentine director Lucas Vignale, among other victims, also died.
The entertainment world was shocked by the death of Gaspione of the most recognized Argentine youtubers in recent years. According to the Brazilian police, the young man died after the helicopter he was traveling in collided in the air with another aircraft in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes area.
The accident occurred around 9 in the morning, when two helicopters collided while flying over Rio de Janeiro. One of the aircraft fell on a parking lot of an electric car dealership and generated a large fire.
In addition to Gaspar Prim Díaz, the American singer and producer Oliver Tree, the Argentine director Lucas Vignale and other occupants of the aircraft died in the accident.
Who were the victims of the accident?
The pilot Alexandre Souza, Gaspi, the Brazilian music producer Lucas Brito Chaves, the Argentine director Lucas Vignale and Oliver Tree were traveling on the Eurocopter AS 350 B2 helicopter.
The second aircraft, a Bell 206B, was driven by Charles Marsillac, who also lost his life after the impact.
The emergency operation included dozens of firefighters and specialized vehicles to control the flames. Authorities reported that the fire spread quickly because it reached several electric vehicles parked at the scene.
The area was completely isolated while the Civil Police and the Brazilian Air Force began investigations to determine the causes of the crash.
Hours before the accident, Lucas Vignale had shared the last known image of Gaspi. In the photo, the YouTuber was seen sitting in front of the sea, dressed in a suit and on a lounge chair, in what would be one of his last moments before the tragedy.
