From July 13 to August 2, the Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires It is transformed into a cultural and recreational center for the whole family. The proposal includes participatory workshops, drum shows and martial arts demonstrations, within the framework of the cherry blossom season.
The winter holidays turn Buenos Aires into a great circuit of activities to discover with the family . The Japanese Garden adds to this offer with a special program that combines tradition, learning and entertainment.

Participatory workshops from Monday to Friday
During business days, the Garden will offer workshops with limited spaces and on a first-come, first-served basis. Activities include:
- Origami: the art of paper folding, one of the most representative traditions of Japan.
- Ikebana: the discipline of Japanese flower arrangement, which combines aesthetics and harmony.
- Bonsai: growing miniature trees, a practice that requires patience and technique.
- Japanese Painting: traditional brush and ink techniques.
- Manga: Japanese-style comic drawing, ideal for the youngest.
These workshops are a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture in an interactive and educational way.
Weekend of martial arts and drums
Saturdays: The Garden will be the scene of demonstrations of traditional martial arts such as Judohe Aikido and the Karate. These exhibitions will allow you to learn up close the discipline, technique and values that support these ancient practices.
Sundays: The programming will be filled with rhythm and energy with Japanese Drum Shows (Taiko) . The power and precision of these instruments, combined with the skill of the performers, creates an unmissable visual and sound spectacle.
Cherry blossoms: the natural spectacle of the month
July coincides with the flowering month of cherry blossoms, sakura. This flower, the most popular in Japan, dyes the Garden landscape in pink and white tones, creating a unique atmosphere that enhances the experience. It is an ephemeral natural phenomenon that attracts visitors of all ages.
