A 36-year-old mountaineer died after falling 15 meters while climbing the the mountains of Bucegia mountain range located in the Southern Carpathians, in the center of Rumaniaon July 11, as reported Daily Mail.
Antonia Mihailescu He was climbing the rock formation with three friends when the only safety harness protecting the group suddenly broke.
The dentist was the first to fall and the force of her body generated a chain reaction that dragged the other three members of the group, according to the aforementioned British media.
Antonia suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact against the rocks and was declared dead at the scenewhile the other three people – aged between 26 and 51 – were also injured, but survived.
