Cities that transform with light often offer a particular type of revelation, one that appears when the walker decides to surrender to the cadence of the environment and allow the landscape to set the pace. Lisbon belongs to that lineage, a city that invites us to look closely at what happens on the margins, in the silences, in the gestures that slide between ancient facades and aromas that change with the Atlantic breeze. At certain moments, the city seems to open an intimate corridor, a space where perception is refined and where each detail acquires an unexpected resonance.
This climate prepares the entrance to Allora, an Italian restaurant with independent access from the EPIC SANA Marquês, which integrates into the heart of Lisbon with an identity that avoids any hasty reading. The space is based on an aesthetic that combines rusticity and refinement, an atmosphere that refers to classic trattorias without replicating them, as if the memory of Italy were filtered into details that dialogue with contemporaneity. The room, spacious and warm, offers 146 seats and a layout that invites you to explore it like someone crossing a small gastronomic map.
The open kitchen functions as a setting and as a declaration of principles, a gesture that reveals the importance of process and transparency. The antipasti bar displays colors and aromas that evoke Italian markets, while the cocktail bar offers a menu that combines authorship and current events. The ice cream and dessert space, with its selection of gelatos and sweets inspired by different regions, completes a journey that is sustained by diversity. The covered terrace, one of the most unique corners of the restaurant, is reminiscent of Italian gardens with its water fountain and its view over the city, a “Giardino All’Italiana” that invites you to prolong the after-dinner meal.
The kitchen, currently under the direction of Nuno Costa, relies on fresh dough as the axis of identity. Tagliatelle carbonara, tortello de camarão con molho de crustaceans, pappardelle al ragu, gnocchi de pesto e stracciatella, tagliatelle alla puttanesca, each dish seems built from a search for balance between tradition and technique. The proposal is completed with grilled meats and fish, a selection that broadens the spectrum without losing coherence. During the week, the executive menu seduces those who work in the area, while on weekends the focus is on the party menu, designed for sharing and to recover the spirit of family meals. The Tutti al Tavolo concept synthesizes that intention, an invitation to enjoy the table as a meeting space.
Allora avoids the temptation of becoming a hotel restaurant without an identity. Its character is based on aesthetic coherence, the quality of the products and a narrative that unfolds without fanfare. The experience is built from closeness, from the feeling that each element of the space is designed to accompany a moment that drags on without haste. Lisbon thus adds a unique chapter to its gastronomic map, a place where Italian tradition is reinterpreted with elegance and where each dish seems to dialogue with a memory that is renewed. Allora invites you to stop, to listen, to perceive what transforms a meal into an experience that lasts.
A comfortable springboard to Europe is LEVELa long-haul airline that offers direct and non-stop flights to Barcelona from Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru) and Santiago de Chile (Chile), as well as some destinations in the United States. It offers a travel experience at attractive prices and a differential and personalized proposal, so that each person can choose the class (Premium or Economy) and the services with which they wish to travel.
