With the start of the school break, urban and suburban buses circulate with a special schedule. The reduction in units is around 28% and will last until August 2.
Since this Monday, the public transportation in La Plata works with a special scheme for the beginning of the winter vacation in the province of Buenos Aires. The measure implies a reduction of approximately 28% of microphone frequenciesdue to the decrease in passengers during the school break.

The modification affects urban and suburban lines, which adjusted the number of units in circulation due to the lower demand generated by the suspension of classes.
Less frequencies during the break
The reduction is mainly due to the decrease in the number of students, teachers and workers linked to the educational field who use the service daily.
Despite the adjustment, transport companies must respect the schedules established for this special schedule and guarantee the normal provision of the service during the two weeks of vacation.
There will be controls and channels to make claims
From the Municipality of La Plata They reported that controls will be carried out to verify compliance with the frequencies and avoid inconveniences for users.
In addition, they recalled that passengers may make complaints in case of excessive delays, non-compliance with routes or any other irregularity in the service.
The special scheme will be in force until August 2. After the winter break, the buses in La Plata will resume their usual frequencies with the return of classes, scheduled for Monday August 3.
