With a historical growth of 89.5% in the arrival of Argentine tourists during the first half of 2025, Dominican Republic was presented at the International Tourism Fair (FIT) with record figures that consolidate Argentina as its third issuing market worldwide.

The profile of the Argentine tourist in a Caribbean destination

Regional context and new international campaign

Tourism continues to be a motor vital for the Dominican economy. In the first eight months of 2025, the country received more than 8 million visitors. He 75% arrived by air, with the United States (52%) and Canada (7%) as the main emitters, followed by Latin America with more than 15%.
