A man saved in China to a woman of the same river where he was rescued decades agoaccording to information from national media. The story went viral on local social media.
The event, made publicly known in mid-December 2025, occurred in Yueqingcounty of the province of Zhejiangeast of the Asian country.
Once, according to chinese public television service China Central Television (CCTV), a local resident of 40 years called Huang Daoxian He was visiting his parents’ house when heard noises coming from the river of the area.
Immediately, according to his story, Huang left the house and observed that there was an elderly woman in the water, struggling to stay afloat. Given this reason, the man came to his aid. Meanwhile, another person decided to document the scene with his cell phone.
«I jumped into the water immediately and swam to where the woman had fallen. I lifted his chin and said: ‘Don’t panic, I’ll take you to shore‘» Huang, a retired soldier and experienced swimmer, told CCTV.

He had to move the woman several meters by the river, which it was freezing. «While I was carrying her, I I was already very exhausted,» said the man, who suffered some injuries on the soles of his feet though none serious.
Fortunately, Huang managed to reach the shorewhere received the help from other people to get the older adult out of the water.
After the rescue, according to CCTV, the accident victim was taken to a hospital and managed to recover.
