What should have been a regular route between Cosquín and the city of Córdoba became a scene of panic and destruction. In less than 24 hours, the Tren de las Sierras suffered three serious accidents, including the complete fire of one of its formations in La Calera.
The Fire: Total Losses in La Calera
Around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2a formation that carried 130 passengers started burning near the station The Calera (intersection of Av. San Martín and Rivadavia).
