Argentina Fashion and Travel dazzled at the Opening of the INTERNATIONAL TOURISM FAIR

Fashion and tourism were once again intertwined on a gala night with the celebration of the sixth edition of Argentina Fashion and Travel (F&T), the prestigious parade that took place within the framework of the official opening of the International Tourism Fair -FIT in La Rural. The event, which paid tribute to the talent of designers from all over the country, took place on Saturday, September 27 at 7 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Red Pavilion.

Since its creation, Argentina Fashion and Travel has established itself as a unique platform that merges the creativity of the fashion industry with the richness and diversity of Argentine tourist destinations. Under the general direction and production of Susana Clur, Argentina Fashion and Travel was awarded the Argentine Country Brand seal, a recognition that underlines the importance of this initiative for promoting the image of Argentina in the world.

It was hosted by journalist Nara Ferragut and tourism specialist Hernán Lirio. In this sixth edition, recognized brands such as Tiffany (glasses, opening by Sergio Fermani), Marcela Koury (lingerie, with three lines), Atrapa el Sol (bathing robes for children and adults), Chimola (children’s), Napitos (children’s), MUR by Floppy Tesouro (swimwear), RL Horse Store (polo and horse riding line) presented their collections. Kova (luxury fashion), Lali Ramírez (footwear), Patricinha Festa (brides and courtships), Matices (men’s label), Pupé Teté (haute couture), Mendoza designer Claudio Jara and the Tierra Amada brand from Santa Cruz, arising from the PREPAP regional promotion program.

As a closing with a flourish, the renowned Argentine creator Verónica de la Canal displayed all her prestige on the catwalk.

The makeup was done by the prestigious Óscar Mulet and María Grebol, while the hair was done by Miguel Romano’s staff. They also accompanied the brands Planeta Urbano, Cunnington, Cima Talento Infantil, canned waters Salvador – SLVDR, Smart Drink drinks, Bea Patisserie, Grupo NTG Turismo, No Tire Godoy, Acqua Di Vertiente and La Nueve Equipajes.

MÙR by Floppy Tesouro
MÙR is the swimsuit brand created by model and actress Floppy Tesouro. Claudio Jara
With almost twenty years of experience, Claudio Jara has become one of the leading designers in Argentine fashion. His vocation arose at a very young age in his native Mendoza, where he began presenting his own collections and, over time, worked alongside renowned figures such as Verónica de la Canal, Gabriel Lage, Benito Fernández and Carlos Di Domérico. This experience allowed him to be nourished by different styles and enrich his creative vision.

Throughout his career he has presented more than 30 collections, both in Argentina and on international stages, and has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions. Its proposal is characterized by enhancing feminine elegance, dressing real women who seek to express their uniqueness in each event. Passionate dedication is reflected behind each design, combining innovation with a deep respect for the tradition of haute couture.

Veronica de la Canal

Verónica de la Canal is one of the most prestigious designers in Argentina and an undisputed reference in national fashion with international projection. Since 2001 he has built a brand that has traveled the world and is distinguished by a Renaissance, maximalist and rebellious aesthetic, which challenges traditional codes with a unique and recognizable style.

She was the first Argentine designer to present a collection at Galeries Lafayette (Paris) and has participated in renowned catwalks such as Miami Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Ecuador and Argentina. Among her many distinctions, the “Best Designer” award at Miami Fashion Week and recognition as “Outstanding Cultural Personality” by the City of Buenos Aires stand out.

Her creative universe also led her to be a judge on the television program Corte y Conificación, and to dress celebrities such as Susana Giménez, Nacha Guevara, “Pinky”, Lali and Tini Stoessel, in addition to collaborating with prominent directors in performance proposals such as “DRACANAL” with Cibrián-Mahler. His label is synonymous with sophistication, theatricality and avant-garde, establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Argentine fashion.

Tiffany
The renowned eyewear brand opened the show with the proposal of designer Sergio Fermani. Its presentation included modern and sophisticated style glasses, on a catwalk that included the participation of Floppy Tesouro, Barby Franco and Sofi Macaggi.

Marcel Koura
The traditional lingerie brand presented “Le Nuit”, a romantic and sensual collection that reaffirms its feminine and elegant identity, with designs that enhance the silhouette and sophistication.

Catch the Sun
The firm exhibited a collection of personalized robes that function as bathing and beach outings, accompanied by Luz de Mar bikinis, in a fresh and summery proposal.

RL Horse Store
Debuting for the first time on the runway, the brand presented a sophisticated line of equestrian and polo clothing under the direction of designer Rosario Stype. Their garments combined elegance and functionality, representing the equestrian spirit.

Lali Ramirez
He presented his footwear proposal, characterized by the combination of contemporary design, comfort and style for modern women.

Napitos
With a denim collection for children and teenagers, Napitos provided freshness and dynamism. Their looks were accompanied by accessories from La Nueve Equipajes, adding an urban and versatile air.

Chimola
The children’s brand dazzled with colorful proposals for the little ones, reaffirming its place as a reference in the design of playful and original clothing for children.

Hard
The brand presented a sophisticated, modern, daring and sensual cocktail collection. The closing of the catwalk was in charge of designer Romina Bontempo, who reaffirmed the brand’s identity with avant-garde pieces.

Las Patricinhas
The firm presented its bridal and children’s wedding collection under the direction of Jana de Oliveira. With a romantic and delicate style, the proposal combined freshness and tradition in bridal fashion.

Nuances
The men’s label brand presented a distinguished collection for men, which included the special participation of Ulices, a figure from the reality show Big Brother, providing notoriety and media appeal.

Pupé Teté
He presented exclusive haute couture designs for all types of events, reaffirming his mark of elegance, versatility and artisanal care in each piece.
