The tweets contained messages with negative connotations towards the Argentine flag, the Malvinas Islands and national sovereignty:


The complaint cites article 119 of the Constitution and various articles of the Penal Code that punish treason with penalties ranging from ten years in prison to life imprisonment, in addition to absolute disqualification from holding public office.2.
Jorge Eduardo Oliver had already presented another criminal complaint before the Federal Justice against the president Javier Miley and several of his ministers, accusing them of «failure to fulfill public duties, violation of the National Constitution and treason.»
This complaint was made following the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) 697/2025 that enables the entry of foreign troops into the country.
