Crossing Borders

By Flavia Tomaello, https://flaviatomaello.blog/Instagram @flavia.tomaello

The artist and cultural manager Laura Notari presents “Crossing Borders: Movement, Identity, and Cultural Exchange,” an international collective exhibition that brings together artists from different continents to reflect, through art, on the experience of migration, cultural transformation and the construction of identity.
The exhibition proposes a sensitive and plural journey through personal and collective stories marked by movement, uprooting, memory and belonging. Through multiple artistic languages, the exhibition seeks to amplify voices, share untold trajectories, and visually narrate the impact of displacement across generations.
Migration is not just about crossing countries.
It’s crossing languages.
Cross generations.
Cross different versions of yourself.
It is leaving something behind and learning to take it with you.

“Crossing Borders” is presented as a platform to think about migration not only as a geographical phenomenon, but as an emotional, symbolic and generational experience.
More than a sample, it is a shared journey.
