FACVE anticipates the closing of 2025 with an exclusive meeting with its partners and allies

The institution held its end-of-year cocktail, taking stock of 2025 and projecting a new year with more collaboration and technology

The Argentine Forum of Travel Consultants and Companies (FACVE) held an exclusive meeting for partners, strategic allies and industry leaders at SLS Puerto Madero, one of the most prominent spaces in the City of Buenos Aires.

In a year crossed by profound transformations in the travel industry, FACVE held its end-of-year cocktail to share everything worked during the year, take stock and project 2026 with positive expectations.

The President of FACVE, Carlos Taboada, inaugurated the cocktail within the framework of the 20 years of the forum. The executive began his speech by thanking the large attendance: «This meeting reflects the support of partners, allies, media and sector leaders in a forum that works daily, side by side, for the development of all parties.» At the same time, he recalled that FACVE was founded with the idea of protecting the industry and promoting a collaborative spirit «The commitment is that we effectively continue fighting together for those causes that we believe we have to improve as an industry. We must fight for an industry with technology, not technology against the industry. I think that is the great challenge we have for the coming years.» In addition, he also highlighted the importance of his role towards the State «Cooperation and dialogue between the public and private spheres is essential. There are important issues for which we have been asking for a solution for a really long time and we still have not achieved it. We are an institution that seeks permanent dialogue and is available to contribute to the State with our specific knowledge of the activity to achieve the solutions that are needed.»

In turn, the Executive Director of FACVE, Carlos Nuñez, shared the most relevant institutional advances, the challenges that the sector went through and the vision of FACVE in the face of the new scenario that is being consolidated in Argentina and the region.

«2025 has had a little bit of everything, being an election year it was changing. However, air connectivity has grown this year, both domestically and internationally, so from that point of view it is positive.»

In line with Taboada, Nuñez also focused on the pending challenges and the role of the entity in the face of digital transformation: «At FACVE we work as a space for dialogue, listening and community, taking care of all the changes that are taking place in the sector, such as technology, which affects us positively, but also requires attention to sensitive issues such as fraud prevention and computer security. Within FACVE, these are issues that we address to generate synergy and good practices.»

After the speech, the meeting continued with a networking space where the main executives, agencies and companies of the ecosystem were able to exchange visions and project new opportunities for next year.

With two decades of experience, FACVE continues to consolidate itself as an industry leader that advocates for its interests and proposes a permanent dialogue between all actors.

The institution’s cocktail had the accompaniment and special support of Air Europa and Assist Card, key partners in the sector that promote networking and institutional strengthening initiatives.
