Carlos Nuñez -Executive Director of FACVE -Argentine Forum of Consultants and Travel Companies-, was in charge of giving the welcome words and presenting a talk on applied AI for members of the institution.
On this occasion, the event was held at the Novotel hotel and had the notable presence of Hernán Mazzeo – AI specialist, CTO of Restart, Computer Engineer, with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Lawyer and Doctor in Legal Sciences.
Mazzeo analyzed in depth the methodological stages involved in the implementation of functional AI and distinguished the advantages and scope of using AI on a personal basis and its use for corporate productivity. In this framework, the expert gave keys so that companies can identify the stage in which they are, steps to make a precise diagnosis and level the expectations linked to the implementation of this disruptive technology that is here to stay.
“Two kilos of AI is not enough, companies must know what they need, have clean and accessible data and from this, prepare for the implementation of AI and the cultural change that it implies,” Mazzeo said.
Through specific cases, the expert highlighted the potential of AI, and also warned about ethical aspects linked to information security.
The talk included a space for interaction with partners, who conveyed their interest, concerns, progress and doubts about artificial intelligence.
Next, Nuñez spoke again, and highlighted the importance of reflecting and training to adopt this technology that is already a fact and is here to stay.
Likewise, the executive thanked the partners – there are 44 member companies – and highlighted the importance of these meetings to analyze issues that are central to the business.
The initiative that included Mazzeo’s exhibition, in turn became a networking space where FACVE partners and allies could act, share and reflect on this current trend. Novotel prepared a special table to entertain and facilitate the interaction of guests.
The activity was co-organized with Incatur and had the support of important companies such as Assist Card, Air Europa and Hotel Novotel.
In this way, a FACVE initiative to connect, share knowledge and promote relationships between partners and allies materialized once again.
