It all started in 2019. And from there, history continues to be written and surprising. One day, Make Pomponius bought 2 kilos of flour and 2 kilos of tomatoes and prepared 15 pizzas for 15 friends. They were a complete success. So he decided to try his luck a little more professionally. For that he went to Italy and trained.

The origins: a barbecue, an oven and a lot of love
He opened an Instagram account with the name Michelein tribute to his father Miguel, who died in 2018. This was the best way to remember him, and in addition to having a connection with Italy and his ancestors. A barbecue area with an oven and a table served as a pizzeria. Michele opened once every 15 daysthus, in an almost precarious way.
People began to arrive. Increasingly. Until a week before the pandemic began, clients reached 100 in a single day. In quarantine it grew and grew.
Michele Pizza and Love It thus became a trend not only in Ranelagh but throughout the area.
The consecration: Neapolitan certification and trips to Italy
The AVPN (True Neapolitan Pizza Association) certified it as a Neapolitan pizzeria and Facu was, in addition, the first Argentine pizzaiolo certified by this prestigious international association. He traveled to Italy several times, bringing culinary innovations and growing as an entrepreneur.
The solidarity side: a marathon to Mar del Plata
Furthermore, as an athlete, he ran from his home to Mar del Plata. A epic and at the same time supportive marathon which showed that his capacity for effort has no limits.
The big leap: from a parking lot to “Michele Parcheggio”
But as Facu Pomponio is restless, visionary and self-managingwent for more. He found a parking lot in Quilmes. He saw potential. He made a mental model and today it is a reality.
Maintaining the structure and aesthetics of the place, was born Michael Parkingwith the Neapolitan essence of Michele Pizza e Amore but with a more glam touch, adding a more varied menu and a drinks bar that complete the experience.
A present of growth and passion
Nothing stops Facu Pomponio. He always goes for more. And today, he happily announces the birth of this new gastronomic bet very Argentine, but with an Italian heart. His story is an example of how passion, perseverance and love for one’s roots can transform a dream into a gastronomic empire.
