Gachiakuta arrived at streaming platforms. It is based on the manga by Kei Urana that has been published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2022, with 15 volumes published in Japan to date.
According to the official website of the anime, Gachiakuta is an action and combat series that features a orphaned boy named Rudo. One day, he is falsely accused of a crime and is thrown into an abyss known as the Pozo. There Rudo must fight monstrous garbage beasts hoping to return home and seek justice.

The anime is directed by Gachiakuta in Studio Bones Filmwith adaptation by Hiroshi Seko, character designs and main animation direction by Satoshi Ishino, and music by Taku Iwasaki.
Episode 17 of the Gachiakuta anime premieres this Sunday, November 2. The anime chapters are released weekly.

Gachiakuta: what it is about
The anime has a unique artistic style with great inspiration in graffiti and fast-paced action that tells the story of Rudo, a young man who dedicates himself to scavenging. He lives in a neighborhood, home of the descendants of the city’s criminals.
