A man is so obsessed with photography that he spent US$100,000 to build a three-story house that is shaped like…photographic camera
But that is little. He gave his three children names in keeping with his mania: Canon, Nikon and Epson. All the work of Ravi Hongal, a 51-year-old professional photographer, who lives in Belgaum, India.
The house is shaped like a vintage camera, with a window in the form of a lens, flash and even an SD card.

The railing of one of the balconies is shaped like a spool and the camera shutter is the main door. All giant. And the interior decoration goes in the same direction. The ceilings and walls are designed as different parts of a chamber.
Each floor of the three-story building is dedicated to his children: the eldest Canon Hongal, 25, Nikon Hongal, 23, and his youngest son Epson Hongal, 18.
Night view of the house with proper lighting ensures that people see the flash and the camera rolls in the distance.
He fulfilled the dream of his life
According to the local news blog All About BelgaumRavi loves photography. Since I was a child I always carried two Pentax and Zenit cameras, and took photos. And when he grew up he fulfilled his dream by opening his own photography studio.

«I love photography and the camera, and everything related to it. Over the years, many things have changed in the area, but my love remains the same. It was my long-cherished dream to build a house that looks like a camera,» the man tells indianexpress.com.
When asked how her children feel about their names, Hongal told indianexpress.com: «When I decided to give them camera brand names, they didn’t understand much, but my wife supported me a lot. Now they are quite happy. I explained to them that I named them after the things I love most and they understood. «Now they are proud.»
