The educational community of Secondary Education School No. 53 of Los Hornos is in a state of alert after a worrying episode was reported within the establishment. The incident, which is the subject of investigation by the competent authorities, involves the alleged carrying of a weapon by a minor student.
According to reports, the event took place last Friday, May 29, during the late shift in the school building located on 185th Street, between 77th and 78th. According to the first testimonies, the student entered the school with the dangerous element and pointed it directly at a classmate inside the facilities.
Activation of protocols and formal complaint
After becoming aware of the situation, the high school Management Team issued an official statement to families to inform them of the urgent actions implemented. The authorities emphasized that the procedure was strictly adjusted to the current coexistence and protection regulations.
As first measures, the institution held face-to-face meetings with the families of the students involved. Likewise, immediate intervention was given to the corresponding school supervision agencies and a formal complaint was filed with the Ministry of Security of the province of Buenos Aires so that the police could determine the origin and type of weapons used.
Pedagogical measures and support
Through the letter sent to the community, the managers sought to convey calm and confirmed that all preventive measures planned for this type of critical contingencies were adopted.
In addition to the legal procedure, the establishment authorities announced that they will design and implement special pedagogical devices to address the problem with the students.
