The Professional Council of Surveying of the Province of Buenos Aires (CPA) carried out a new registration act and this year is a record as the number of professionals doubled compared to 2024 with 80 new surveyors registering this year.
In this way, the “sustained growth of Buenos Aires Surveying and the commitment of the Council to the new generations” is consolidated in Buenos Aires territory.
He headed the event, held at the House of the Surveyor “Agrim. Emeritus Raúl
H. Terzaghi», the President of the Superior Council, Agrim. Reinaldo Beain, together with the Secretary, Agrim. Oscar López; the Treasurer, Agrim. Lucas St. Esteben and the Vice President, Agrim. Guillermo Jacoby Beyer.
Also participating were the surveying councilors Lucas Zanella Kohli, Esteban Kain, Javier Pereyra, Mario Percivale, Maximiliano Lucangioli and the Vice President of District College 8, Agrim. Leandro Curcio.
During the ceremony, the new enrollees took the traditional Professional Oath, committing to practice with ethics, responsibility and respect for the rules that regulate the profession.
Beain highlighted that «it is a huge satisfaction to carry out an act like this. Each new enrollment is a sign of growth and renewal. Our aspiration is that this number of new professionals is repeated every year.»
The President also emphasized the importance of institutional participation and prominence.
«This Professional Council had what I call the Generation of 80, a group of colleagues who, faced with the need to have their own association, laid brick by brick so that the CPA could grow and consolidate. Thanks to that vision and that collective effort, today we have a solid institution, with a presence throughout the Province and a deep sense of professional belonging,» he stated.
He also added that «from that founding moment, the CPA was consolidated as a reference profession, not only at the provincial level but also nationally. This path of growth and recognition now challenges us to take a new leap, to continue transforming.»
In that sense, he addressed the new enrollees expressing that «for that we need you. We need your energy, your ideas and your commitment. The Council not only requires enrollees practicing the profession: it needs participation, leaders, and above all, political and technical cadres who contribute knowledge, new views and fresh voices to the institutional debate.»
«Each of you brings with you the training of our universities and the support of an entire professional community. This support will accompany you throughout your working life, but it also invites you to be an active part of the history that is coming. This Council needs you to continue growing.»
The meeting was attended by more than 130 people, including authorities, family members and colleagues, who accompanied the new professionals in this significant moment for their professional development.
The event culminated with a toast of camaraderie, where authorities and enrollees shared a warm closing of the day, reaffirming the values of belonging, ethics and collective work that distinguish Buenos Aires Surveying.
