The organization that leads inclusive entrepreneurship globally consolidates its impact in the region through the Accessible Ecosystem, a free, accessible and 100% online initiative that seeks to turn Disability into a competitive advantage for innovation.
Buenos Aires, February 2026 – In Latin America, more than 85 million people live with some type of Disability. However, access to economic opportunities, entrepreneurship programs and capital remains deeply unequal. Despite their talent, resilience and market knowledge, People with Disabilities continue to be underrepresented in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and receive less than 1% of global venture capital.
Faced with this structural gap, 2Gether-International (2GI), today recognized as the world’s leading accelerator run by and for Entrepreneurs with Disabilitiesand the first to systematically promote an ecosystem of this type in Latin America and the Caribbean.

An organization created to change the rules of the ecosystem
2Gether-International was founded by Diego Mariscalentrepreneur and activist born with cerebral palsy, based on a clear conviction: the problem is not Disability, but the systems that exclude talent. Far from promoting a narrative of individual improvement, 2GI set out from its beginnings to design real infrastructure so that People with Disabilities can create, scale and lead competitive companies.
«As a person with cerebral palsy, I have fallen thousands of times, and thousands of times I have gotten back up. That resilience is no exception: it is a strength shared by many People with Disabilities. When the ecosystem is well designed, that experience is transformed into innovation,» points out Diego Mariscalfounder and CEO of 2Gether-International.
Since its creation, 2GI has accompanied more than 1300 founders in more than 40 countries, who have collectively raised more than USD 100 million in investment, revenue and acquisitions. This global journey is what today translates into a concrete commitment to Latin America.
Accessible Ecosystem: inclusion as infrastructure, not as discourse
With the support of BID Labthe innovation and venture capital laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, 2Gether-International develops in Latin America and the Caribbean Accessible Ecosysteman initiative designed to strengthen inclusive technological entrepreneurship and build community on a regional scale.
The focus is clear: lDisability is a competitive advantagebut it can only unfold its potential when there is access to mentoring, networks, capital and learning spaces designed with accessibility in mind. That’s why, Accessible Ecosystem It is designed both for People with Disabilities and for entrepreneurs and startups who, without experiencing a Disability, develop technological solutions aimed at this community. Inclusive innovation, here, is a collective effort.
Results that can now be measured
During its implementation in Latin America, Accessible Ecosystem showed concrete impacts. In 2025, the programs delivered USD 30,000 in capital to outstanding ventures, supported dozens of technological projects and reached a 93.5% average satisfaction among participants, reflecting the relevance and quality of the support.
The supported ventures cover sectors such as technology, health, data, services, education and accessibility, and combine social impact with scalable business models, ready to dialogue with investors, strategic allies and regional markets.
Two programs, the same objective: start and scale inclusive ventures
Accessible Ecosystem It is articulated through two complementary programs, designed for different stages of the entrepreneurial path and developed entirely in Spanish for Spanish-speaking countries.
Venture Labs It is an intensive 4-week program, aimed at people who want to start their entrepreneurial journey, validate ideas and structure their business model. Includes specialized mentoring, access to a regional network of entrepreneurs and a final Demo Day, where The outstanding project receives a prize of USD 2,500.
For its part, the Startup Acceleratorwhose next edition will open registration soon, is a 10-week program focused on startups with MVP or initial traction that seek to accelerate their growth, prepare to present to investors, and strengthen their business strategy. The program culminates with a final instance of Pitch Competition, where The selected startup accesses a prize of USD 10,000plus advanced mentoring and access to tools valued at more than $1 million.
Both programs are 100% free, accessible and virtual, eliminating geographic and economic barriers.
The impact, told by those who live it
The results of Accessible Ecosystem They are also reflected in the trajectories of its participants.
From Argentina, Hugo Farfanfounder of CaféLSAhighlights how Venture Labs allowed him to strengthen his project and demonstrate that a venture led by deaf people can compete on equal terms when it has strategy, support and community.
In the Accelerator, Keila Barral Masrifounder and CEO of Cromodatahighlights the value of building meaningful relationships within an ecosystem that understands inclusion as a strategic advantage and not as a symbolic gesture.
In Colombia, Martin Londonofounder of MATT Mobilityand in Brazil, the team Equality con Djalma Scartezini y Guilherme Braga at the head, agree that the support received allowed them to refine their business models, expand their vision of impact and strengthen their preparation to scale. MATT Mobility promotes electric devices that promote autonomy and access to work for People with limited mobility, while Egalité develops solutions that promote labor inclusion from a strategic perspective.
Together, these stories show something deeper than individual success stories: they demonstrate that when the ecosystem is designed for accessibility, innovation is not only possible, but scalable.
