One of the co-founders of the British fashion company Asos, Quentin Griffithsdied in Thailand after falling from the 17th floor of a building in the tourist city of Pattaya. The tycoon was 58 years old and tragic circumstances of death they generate commotion.
Local police authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased after reporting that his body was found on February 9 in front of an apartment complex overlooking the coast, located about 150 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.

After divorcing his first wife, with whom he had fathered a son, he moved to Thailand in 2007. He married a Thai woman, whose name is unknown, and had two more children.
A source close to the family was consulted by the British tabloid The Sun and provided a brief statement about the tragic death: «It’s a real mystery. The phrase ‘suspicious circumstances’ was used, but we still don’t know.»
The same media details that Griffiths was facing an ongoing legal dispute with his Thai ex-wife, who accused him of stealing more than $600,000 from a company they operated together.
In 2025 Griffiths was reportedly arrested and questioned by detectives after she alleged that he had falsified documents to sell land and shares in the business without her knowledge.
After denying the accusations, he was reportedly released, but the investigation is believed to have been ongoing at the time of his death.
