Surveying is strengthened: new national authorities take over with a focus on young people and high labor demand

The Argentine Federation of Surveying (FADA) launched a new management for the period 2026-2028, after the assumption ceremony held in the last few hours in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, where the new leadership leadership, headed by the Catarmarca Surveyor, assumed Jorge Soria, who renewed his mandate for two more years.

In compliance with the resolution of General Assembly No. 260, the new members of the Executive Committee and the Accounts Audit Commission formally assumed their positions, beginning a stage that combines institutional continuity and a new leadership imprint.

President Jorge Soria renews his mandate at the head of the Federation, consolidating a line of work that has been developing in recent years.

“This new management thus represents the continuity of a project that has strengthened the presence and positioning of surveying at the national level, now adding the energy and vision of new leaders who are joining the leadership,” it was reported in a statement.

The entity highlighted that the central objective will continue to be to defend and prioritize the profession, promoting its social recognition and its strategic role in the territorial, urban and productive development of the country.

One of the priority axes will be to deepen the dissemination of the career among young people, highlighting that surveying is a profession with high labor demand and ample opportunities for insertion into the market, both in the public and private spheres.

The new leadership – made up of President Jorge Soria; the secretary Evangelina Canales Cairo and the treasurer, Diego Morrone – reaffirmed their commitment to working federally, strengthening the link with professional associations and councils throughout the country, and consolidating the Federation as a space for representation and collective construction.

With continuity, renewal and a strategic vision, the Argentine Federation of Surveying begins a new stage focused on institutional growth and the future projection of the profession.
