On the second weekend of April, the capital of Buenos Aires dresses up in green, white and red to celebrate the 8th edition of the Festival of Gastronomy Italian. He Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12he Alberti Park (25 and 38) will become the epicenter of the flavors, culture and traditions of the European country, in a meeting designed to share with friends, explore, enjoy and connect with nature.
Con free entrythe event expects to receive more than 25 thousand peoplemaintaining the record attendance of previous editions.

Schedules and gastronomic proposal
On Saturday the festival will run from 12:00 until 23:30while on Sunday the activities will begin at 12:00 and will continue until 9:30 p.m..
The gastronomic corridor will have more than 80 food stalls and 56 Italian gastronomic restaurantswhere visitors can enjoy a variety of traditional and artisanal dishes from the northern, southern and central Italy. Among the featured options are:
- Panini and focaccia freshly baked
- Italian cold cuts premium
- Panettone, lasagna and baked folds
- Neapolitan pizzaincluding the classic Margherita and clay oven versions
- Homemade pasta and the traditional panzerotti from Puglia
- Porchetta and roast beef with Italian sauce
- Typical beer, artisanal ice cream, panna cotta, sfogliatella and cannoli
- Typical Italian appetizers
El Tano Veltri, guest star
On this occasion, the festival will have the presence of the renowned chef David Veltribetter known as “El Tano Veltri” . International jury in the World Pizza Championship and a prominent figure in the media of Argentina and Italy, Veltri will offer live cooking classes which will be one of the main attractions for gastronomy lovers.
Music, raffles and activities for the whole family
In addition to the gastronomic offer, the event will include:
- Musical shows to liven up the day
- Travel raffles and Italian courses
- Games for boys
- A craft fair starring entrepreneurs who will share bijou, gastronomic textiles, candles, ceramic objects, olive oil, alfajores, preserves and other products inspired by Italian culture.
An initiative that strengthens cultural ties
The festival is organized by the Territorial Coordination Agency Italy Argentina and various entities attached to the Cultural Tourist Productive Corridor Italy Argentinawith the support of institutions such as the Academy of Italian Gastronomy (Perugia) the Academy At the Table with the Chef (Rome) , Idimed y Puglia Promotion.
