A controversial measure by a teacher in Mexico has caused unrest in the Central American country to the point that the parents of the students have asked that the teacher be sanctioned.
Professor Luis Juárez Texis, who teaches at the Cobat High School College in Tlaxcala, He chose a curious method during an exam to prevent his students from cheating. The technique consisted of putting a cardboard box on the head of his students, measure that has caused a virulent debate on social networks, where an intense counterpoint was generated between those who applauded the measure and those who condemned it.

In turn, the parents of the students asked that the teacher, who is also the director of the school, be sanctioned: «We denounce these acts of humiliation, physical, emotional and psychological violence.to which the students of the course are subjected,» they wrote in a statement. «We are concerned about the academic training of our children, we disqualify this type of violence towards young people,» they concluded.

Luis Juárez Texis, the director and teacher who used the strange initiative, carries another accusation: abuse of authority and influence peddling. The thing is that students can only buy their uniform from a single supplier, which was hand-picked by the director, without any bidding and without having been informed to the General Directorate of Education.
Although the incident occurred a few years ago, the teacher is still on duty at the school.
