A recent domestic incident in North Carolina, USA occurred on October 13, served as a public warning about the dangers posed by lithium-ion batteries if they are not stored correctly.

The protagonist of this unwanted event was Colton, a dog five years old, who unintentionally demonstrated the risk of these elements by causing a fire in the living room of his house in Chapel Hill.

The sequence, captured by a security camera installed in the home, shows the exact moment in which Colton chewed on the drums.

Fortunately, the outcome of the incident was minor, considering the potential severity of a house fire. No one, including Colton, was injured..

The fire extinguished itself and property damage was limited to a ruined carpet and some smoke damageleaving the house, in general, in good condition.
