VTEX announces the promotion of Yuriko Huayana to the position of General Manager Latam, expanding its leadership from 2026 in the markets of Mexico and Central America in addition to the markets it had already seen in South America: Chile, Peru, Argentina and Colombia
Yuriko Huayana, who until now successfully led the South Latam operation (Peru, Chile, Argentina and Colombia), has been recognized as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Peru in 2024” by Forbes, a reflection of the impact of her professional career and her leadership in the regional digital and technological ecosystem.
In the last 15 years, Yuriko Huayana has collaborated with 8 markets in Latin America and more than 600 companies with the sole objective of accelerating digital commerce in the region. I joined VTEX in 2019 before being a unicorn* and being a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Today, Yuriko Huayana, in addition to her role at VTEX, is a Member of the Board of Directors at the Lima Chamber of Commerce. Speaker for female empowerment meetings (creator of #WomenInDigital communities, talks on trends – digital consumption and ecommerce.
