“The kisses we didn’t give”: Gaby Gavila premieres an intimate work about the silences of the heart

Starting on Friday, April 10 at 9:00 p.m., the La Soderia Theater—Espacio Artístico Fabril (Vidal 2549, CABA)—will be the setting for “Los Besos que No Dimos,” the new creation by playwright and director Gaby Gavila. The work, which will be presented every Friday, arises from qualitative research and a performative creation process that transforms real testimonies into a collective emotional tapestry.

A choral proposal where the personal becomes universal

“The kisses we didn’t give” is structured around the stories and testimonies of its own performers. From this human material, the work identifies common patterns, themes and emotions to build a show that is, at the same time, intimate and universal. The links, the silences, the absences and that which never happened find a space for resonance and reflection in the scene.

The cast is made up of Martin Armendariz, Lautaro Barani, Sofía Biga, Fede Cabello, Francisco Caltabiano, Mailen Di Gaetano, Delfina Figueroa, Marcos Luquin, Nancy Meijide, Daiana Pavón, Liza Polo, Leandro Sturla and Alexander Xavier Pérez. Thirteen actors who build a choral proposal where the individual finds echo in the experience of the other.

An invitation to sensitive experience

The work invites the public to immerse themselves in an emotional journey crossed by the complexity of human relationships. “The kisses we didn’t give” It is not just a poetic title: it is an open question about what was left pending, what was not said, what was kept silent due to fear, time or circumstances.
