Elite chefs will cook their family recipes at Caminos y Sabores

Caminos y Sabores BNA edition sets the stage for a great collective celebration. The most important gastronomic fair in the country celebrates its 20th edition. The event will bring together producers, chefs and entrepreneurs from all over Argentina.

Of the July 9 to 12in BA Fairchefs from different generations will cook as they would at home. They will share recipes, souvenirs and regional products. They will also tell personal stories that speak of Argentine gastronomic identity.

The cycle will take place in two kitchens with simultaneous programming.

  • July 9: Martin Molteni
  • July 10: Nicolás Tykocki, Germán Martitegui and Felicitas Pizarro
  • July 11: Dante Liporace, Madame Papin and Santiago Giorgini
  • July 12: Alejandra Temporini and Paula Comparatore

The preview: federal empanadas to open the banquet

The banquet begins before going to the table. In Caminos y Sabores, that moment will be represented by the empanadasone of the most federal and shared dishes in Argentina.

Martin Moltenia reference in identity cuisine, will offer a open lamb pie. This preparation reflects its permanent search for a gastronomy connected with the territory and the cultural roots of the country.

Paula Comparator will prepare a guanaco empanadaclaiming one of the most representative products of Patagonia. Its proposal rescues regional flavors and culinary traditions that are part of the Argentine heritage.

Two empanadas, two territories and the same idea: celebrate the diversity that turns the country into a wide map of flavors.

The main course: a platter in the center of the table

The spirit of The Great Argentine Banquet is synthesized in a fountain in the center of the table. Santiago Giorgini will make a brisket cooked in a salt crust, abundant and ideal for sharing.

“Cooking is an act of love, it is giving food, it is giving life, it is bringing family or friends together around a table” assured the chef.

Germán Martiteguione of the most influential figures in contemporary gastronomy, will also participate. Today it promotes a new stage with Martiits plant-based proposal distinguished by the Michelin Guide.

Madame Papin will cook a ravioli with chicken stewa recipe that combines tradition, product and memory. Recognized for working to revalue ancestral crops, she takes each dish as an opportunity to connect people with the ingredients.

The after-dinner meal: desserts and anecdotes

The meal gives way to the after-dinner meal. There the anecdotes, laughter and memories appear.

Felicitas Pizarro will reinterpret the classic Balcarce Dessert. This preparation evokes the flavors that are part of the emotional memory of Argentines.
