A new day of Recreational Bingo was held in the San Carlos de La Plata neighborhood. There was music, prizes, dancing and selection was encouraged.
The president of Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos of the Province of Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Atanasofparticipated in a new Recreational Bingo with more than 350 older adults, at the Las Quintas Development Center, in La Plata.
He was accompanied by the Undersecretary of Social Development, Nicolas Carvalho and the municipal delegate Damián Navarro.
«These meetings are the ones we enjoy doing the most. Our wish is for them to dance, enjoy themselves, meet people and win a nice prize, but fundamentally, they can spend a nice afternoon, full of joy and forget for a while about all the problems that plague us every day,» said Atanasof.
During the day, four rounds of bingo were held with prizes per line and a card filled with important prizes for the winners.
In addition to dancing and cheering on the team, there was a very emotional moment when Roxy, a resident of Tolosa, won the raffle for the 43′ television. “I was going to my daughter’s house to watch the World Cup because I don’t have a television, today I’m inviting her,” she said excitedly.

The proposal is part of the Buenos Aires Siempre Activa program, a project articulated between the Lottery, the IPS, IOMA and the Cultural Institute so that older adults can enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and fun.
Also present were the director of Senior Citizens of the Municipality of La Plata, Hugo Bascope; the Undersecretary of Social Integration, Carola Corrá; and the representative of the Las Quintas Club, Ruben Mogni.
Recreational Bingo is a free activity that has already visited different clubs in the city of La Plata and also towns such as Tandil, Mar del Plata, Luján, Colón, Coronel Pringles, Carmen de Areco and San Andrés de Giles.
