Keiko Fujimori, daughter of Former president and criminal Alberto Fujimori, triumphed in the presidential elections of Peru. In this note we analyze his criminal history and his link with the Donald Trump administration.
Con 9.223.396 votes in favor, Keiko Fujimori was consolidated as president of Peru. Your party, Popular Force (self-proclaimed right-wing), proposes slogans similar to those of several presidential candidates in Latin America: order, private sector investment and technological innovation.
The recent triumph of the far-right Abelardo de la Espriella In Colombia it has also generated great repercussions in terms of the alignment of our region with the interests of the United States.
Thus, two new territories will probably be added to the »Shield of the Americas»made up of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago and Colombia + Peru?, where US interference seems to be a source of pride for Latin American countries.

Several dead in the closet
Keiko’s record is scandalous to say the least. Just to start, your father Alberto Fujimori committed multiple crimes during his mandate between 1990 and 2000. After just two years of taking office, he carried out a self-coup d’état with the support of the Armed Forces, which allowed him to dissolve Congress and suspend the Constitution. 1
Another crime led him to international fame: forced sterilization of 300,000 women and 16,000 menon whom vasectomies were performed, under the pretext of «fighting poverty.» At least 18 women They died in the interventions. The most chilling thing is the selection of those people considered undesirable for the eugenic plans proposed by the United States.
The list of crimes goes on. Finally Fujimori fled to Japan and resigned his mandate by fax.

Heir to the throne
During her father’s administration, Keiko assumed the position of First Lady at an early age (19 years old). Since then, his interest in politics never wavered. She was a presidential candidate in three occasions: 2011, 2016 and 2021. This year, Keiko became the first female president to govern the country.
Their proposals could sound tempting in a world scenario full of uncertainty and in the face of the permanent – and increasing – exclusion of various social sectors.
With order as a banner, Keiko promises a future full of economic stability, investment, conflict resolution and «closeness to the people.» Slogans repeated by the many other candidates obedient to Trump’s management, which would please even the most demanding ear.
But as we have been observing in Argentina, stability alone is not enough. The so-called »peace of the cemeteries» It can have a very high social cost. What is the point of having apparently low inflation if many families must go into debt to buy food?
What is striking is that despite the crimes mentioned, in his political proposal Keiko makes constant references to his father and Fujimoriism as a popular movement «identified with the poorest.»
Time will tell how far hereditary Fujimorism will go. Meanwhile, the map of Latin America continues to turn blue, red and white stars.
