After Nacho Levy publicly acknowledged having had «toxic relationships» and asked for forgiveness, Cecilia Ce made herself heard again. He did it with a gesture, not with a direct response: a fragment of his show on Friday, where he spoke about shame, vulnerability and love in front of his audience.
The complaint that Cecilia Ce made days ago led to a series of public testimonies that ended up pointing to Nacho Levy. The psychologist and sexologist reported having gone through a relationship marked by psychological violence, control and emotional manipulation. From there, other testimonies were added and the case became public.
La Poderosa, the social organization of which Levy was a leader, decided to separate him as soon as the facts became known. In a statement, they explained that they activated their gender protocol and that they opted for the total removal of the leader, clarifying that they do not resort to escrache because they do not consider it an effective tool against sexist violence, but rather they prefer a collective approach.
This Monday, Levy issued his own statement. He acknowledged having generated toxic relationships and having been the protagonist of practices that, as he wrote, he tried to work with medication and therapy. He apologized to those who had gone through these dynamics at his side and stated that he decided to begin intensive treatment for his mental health, which he defined as a priority.
Hours later, Cecilia Ce shared on her networks a video of her presentation last Friday in Rosario, recorded while the testimonies against her were still multiplying. In the image she is seen visibly moved before going on stage, speaking frankly to her audience about the personal moment she was going through. He accompanied the publication with two phrases: one that asked shame to change sides, and another that linked vulnerability with the starting point of courage.
In the video, Cecilia also referred to the right to have wanted to love without it implying feeling shame, in a message that the public received with applause. He closed with a reflection addressed to those who go through similar situations, about the importance of not losing the ability to give love and tenderness.
For now, neither party made additional statements on social media. The cause, if any, has not emerged in judicial terms until now.
