Bimbo Global Race: registration for the 11th edition is now open

Grupo Bimbo, global leader in the baking industry, will celebrate the 11th edition of the Bimbo Global Race on September 13 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo. The main premise is to transform sport into a solidarity action. In this spirit, the company will donate 20 slices of bread for each registered person.

The largest race with a cause in the world has already accumulated more than 30 million slices delivered worldwide since its creation. After having reached a donation of more than 213,000 slices of bread in Argentina last yearthe objective for this new meeting is to achieve a historic goal of more than 260.000which will be donated to Food Bank.

It should be noted that the Bimbo Global Race takes place simultaneously in more than 20 countriesand Argentina is positioned as one of the countries with the highest participation.

During the shirt presentation event, Zavalía Lagos added: “With this race, we seek to create a family space where people of all ages can meet and connect with solidarity and social values” .

To promote this message, the race has the support of government authorities, athletes and entertainment figures in their role as ambassadors. They all highlighted the importance of sport not only for individual health, but also for family integration and community well-being.
