Through his social networks, he shared images of the boarding and highlighted the support received: «More than 5,000 people came to say goodbye to us in the port of Barcelona, shouting for free Palestine. In this framework, Salerno maintained that “in a context of genocide against the Palestinian people, where the blockade, bombings and destruction of living conditions are sustained, being part of a humanitarian mission is taking a stand”. Furthermore, he stressed that “International solidarity is more important than ever” and that participation in the flotilla responds to not being indifferent to the situation.
