The “La Plata Reporta” platform presents with concrete data the level of discomfort of the residents of the capital of Buenos Aires. Since its launch, it has already channeled more than 2,800 complaintsreflecting a sustained demand that, as they warn, does not find answers in the official channels of the Municipality.
According to the site The Platense EditorThe main problem pointed out by the people of La Plata is the state of the streetswhich concentrates 1,090 reports, that is, 39% of the total. Potholes, deterioration of the asphalt and lack of maintenance are part of a complaint that is repeated in different neighborhoods.
Secondly, there are the failures in public lightingwith 573 complaints (21%), a problem that directly impacts safety and quality of life. Meanwhile, third place is occupied by wastewith 309 reports (11%), linked to deficiencies in urban collection and cleaning.
Regarding territorial distribution, the Urban Helmet leads the number of complaints with 628 records, followed by Saint Charles (267) y The Ovens (195), which shows that the problems cross both the center and the periphery.
As a novelty, the platform incorporated a neighborhood validationwhich allows users to confirm if the reported problems were resolved or if they remain unsolved, thus adding an instance of direct monitoring by the community.
