The manufacturer announced the launch of its high-performance SSD storage unit in M.2 format, available in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities and with a PCI Express Gen5 x4 interface. The Biwin M560 provides read speeds of up to 11,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 10,000 MB/s.

Biwin, a company specialized in the manufacturing of memory and storage for computers, announced the launch of its M560 PCIe Gen5 SSD, a next-generation M.2 storage unit available in 1 TB and 2 TB configurations, with PCIe Gen5 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 protocol.
«Our Biwin M560 SSD offers sequential read speeds of up to 11,000 MB/s, enabling faster data transfers, game loading, and data-intensive tasks such as 4K/8K content editing and AI-powered workflows. With faster data transfers, it significantly reduces loading times and improves overall system responsiveness,» he said. César Moyano, Biwin Regional Sales Director. He added: “With this drive, users will experience greater productivity and improved efficiency, as they will have storage designed to nimbly handle their most demanding games, video projects or professional workflows.”
The M560 is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, offering plenty of space for large files, high-resolution videos, games, and resource-intensive applications. Its design incorporates an advanced 6nm controller that balances high performance with optimized power management and achieves an average consumption of less than 5.2W under load. This reduces heat generation and electrical consumption in intensive use scenarios, which translates into greater autonomy for laptops and more stable operation in compact platforms.
«The Biwin M560 was designed to keep up with the evolution of modern computing needs. According to tests carried out by our laboratories, compared to PCIe 4.0 SSDs, the transfer of large files improved up to 27% in mobile work environments, the execution of AI models improved up to 11% on mini PC platforms, and the opening times of applications and games were reduced by up to 11% on desktop systems,» he noted. Cesar Moyanowho explained: “To ensure stable and long-lasting performance, the M560 incorporates advanced LDPC error correction and intelligent wear leveling technologies that preserve data integrity and extend drive life.”
The new SSD features a single-sided M.2 form factor that improves compatibility with ultra-slim laptops and space-constrained systems while remaining fully desktop-friendly. Plus, it’s backed by a 5-year warranty with replacement service and an endurance rating of up to 1,500 TBW on the 2TB version. Users also have access to Biwin Intelligence software, a multifunctional management tool that includes features such as performance testing, data migration, and firmware upgrade.
«With the new M560 SSD, Biwin reaffirms its commitment to offering cutting-edge storage technology accessible to a wide variety of users. The combination of PCIe Gen5 speeds, optimized energy efficiency with a 6nm controller and a design designed for universal compatibility positions it as one of the most complete options in the segment,» concluded Biwin’s Regional Sales Director.
