The investigation into the death of Rocío Alvaritothe young woman who lost her life after falling from a second floor in a building in La Plata, added an element of evidence that could be decisive. After opening his cell phone, the experts found a shocking video that the victim herself recorded moments before the tragic outcome.
A record of the conflict
The audiovisual material shows an argument between Rocío and her boyfriendwho was with her in the apartment at the time of the incident. In the images, described as «revealing» by the researchers, the young woman can be seen in a state of anguish while maintaining a strong verbal exchange with her partner.
This video is considered a fundamental piece for justice, since it allows us to reconstruct the climate of tension and the moments before the young woman fell from the balcony.
The judicial situation
So far, the case has gone through different instances to determine if it was an accident, suicide or femicide. The presence of this video, recorded by Rocío herself as a kind of safeguard of what she was experiencing, puts a magnifying glass on the behavior of the man present at the scene.
