An elderly couple from the county of Kent, in the southeast of England, died just 41 hours apart, in a story that has moved his community due to the strong bond that both maintained, local media reported this Monday.

Geoff Gradus, 89, died at home, surrounded by his family, and less than two days later his wife, Gerrie, 86, died suddenly, reports RT.
Her youngest daughter, Ruth Gradus, assured that her mother She would not have been able to cope with life without her husband after 67 years of marriage. «Everyone says they’ve never met a couple so in love,» he said.
A lifetime together
The couple met when Gerrie was 17, while on holiday, and married three years later, in 1958.

Much loved in the Jewish community of the Thanet district (Kent), for decades they ran a famous delicatessen and later a nursing home, where they were remembered for his affection with the residents.
After overcoming various family tragedies, they left a deep memory as grandparents and great-grandparents. «They did everything together, literally until the end,» said their loved ones.
