The White House East Wing was demolished last year to make way for Trump’s controversial ballroom project. The president has also proposed a massive «triumphal arch» be builtnear Arlington National Cemetery across the Potomac River and Lincoln Memorial. Both projects have drawn lawsuits.

Trump’s name was also added to the Kennedy Center and he planned a two-year overhaul of the cultural institution. But he abandoned those plans last week after a federal judge ruled he couldn’t rename the performing arts venue or close its doors without congressional approval. His name is expected to soon be removed from the side of the building.
